In the past I have enjoyed several of the Gabriel Allon series of books by Danial Silva. This one I did not enjoy and did not finish reading. I read for escape and enjoyment when I read fiction. Mr. Silva missed his mark with this book. If it was not written for the enjoyment of the reader, was it written as political propaganda? I do not want to read the author's political leanings and bias that tries to influence beliefs and perceptions when I read a fictional story. There are too many other good books out there that don't try to do this. My last Silva book.
