Band of Brothers was 10/10 Pacific was 7/10 This is maybe 5/10. It's probably a more difficult story to humanize. Men crawl into an aluminum tube, where their role is to follow a presribed course of action and become the target of anti-aircraft guns. There just isn't as much opportunity to show humanizing stories, heroic actions, and human emotion. It's still worth a watch but don't expect the same level of gipping drama that was Band of Brothers. One other point, you're going to want to watch this with the lights off. No one bothered to light the sets.
