I missed the first 30mins. I was blown away. Thoughful, intelligent, emotional, confronting..... there were scenes where I was stunned... there were scenes where I laughed jowfully... there were scenes where I almost weeped in unexpected happiness. Every character - even the father-in-law was believable. Above all, this film celebrated family and individuality. It reminded me of Harold and Maude. Last but not least, it finished with a song that I have NEVER liked, namely Guns'n'Roes's Sweet Child of Mine, but I ADORED this acoustic version, which left me wanting to dance in joy. My rating 4.5 stars.
