Whenever I see a low rotten tomato score I know I'm in for a treat. Movie had me laughing all the way through. Just the magic scenes alone were worth at least a 80%. Dialogue is wry and smartly paced. I mean they make a cat being murdered by an arrow hilarious and I love cats.

11/10. Seriously. One of the best sci fi movies I've ever seen and I've seen hundreds. A lot of original ideas. Great acting (Thomas Jane). Above average special effects. Good drama. Passable musical score. Just a treat in a treat less movie world.
