I would rate this game a 6.5/10, it isn’t bad but not exactly the best MK in recent years. This entry feels like being served a cake without frosting. I have more to criticize than praise with this game. For the pros..the fighting itself, graphics, story & roster were excellent in this entry. That’s really about it there. The cons..what I did not like was the Kameo & Invasion systems, they more so did harm than good for the game. The absence of the krypt is also a let down. The towers arnt engaging. If you beat a tower you just get the character ending after beating it. You hardly, let alone not at all, get any additional gear with the character you play as after beating it! That leads to my biggest piece of criticism..the customization. In MK11 you could change up to 3 pieces of gear per character. In MK1 you are limited to customizing just 1 piece of gear per character. Seems like a downgrade. Clearly they are making an MK2, so hopefully they bring back some of the mechanics that made MK11 good into that with the graphics and continued story from MK1.
