Since 2019 watching this movie every Christmas Eve has been a tradition for me because of how heartwarming it is and that's something special because there really aren't too many heart warming Seth Rogan movies but this movie just has so much warmth to it that you can't help but love it, this movie certainly delivers on the humor too though, this is truly one of those movies that I can just pop on whenever I need a good laugh but I think the best thing about this movie is how Issac, Chris and Ethan genuinely seem like best friends, at no point in this movie does it feel like you're watching Seth Rogan, JGL and Anthony Mackie because of how they play their roles they sell you on the fact that their just a couple of 30 year old best friends having the best Christmas of their lives and I feel like that's what really makes this movie because that's where it gets all of its heart, they feel like real people and that's what makes you feel for them, when they're scared, you're scared, when they're happy, you're happy, when they're having fun, you're having fun and without that it's just any other movie but because all of these characters feel like real people this movie is so charming, so heartwarming, so beautiful that it leaves you with a smile on your face everytime you watch it and that's why every Christmas Eve for the past 3 years I've came back to this movie and I don't see that tradition ending anytime soon because how great this movie is. If you're somehow still reading this then two things, first: I really hope you found you're new favorite Christmas movie and maybe a new tradition and second: if you looked up this movie it's probably Christmas time, if it's Christmas time for you then I just wanna say Merry Christmas I hope you have a wonderful holiday and I hope you get to spend it with the ones you love.
