Pointless film. Red herrings galore with no relationship to the final outcome. The writing is a maze of dead ends that don't move the plot forward. The relationships are all two dimensional. Del Toro's excellent acting chops are totally wasted in this mess. Everything after Justin Timberlake finds his dead GF until the final 15 minutes is a waste of time.

Very confusing timeline with a bizarre score, choppy editing and hollow performances. Can't figure out why so much great talent agreed to do this film.

Good costumes and location. Some requisite warrior eye candy. Casting is very strange and B-movie with Scots, Russians, Americans and the odd Brit. Robert Patrick in this movie is a total non-starter. The writing and the pace are choppy. A movie fit for people who have seen Braveheart too many times who will settle for a very pale imitation.
