It is poetry of economics. It is an epic. While discussing about capitalism, Marx related the evolution of modern society. As a human cell incorporates total functions of human body and mind, a commodity incorporates almost all the characteristics of capitalism. He thus starts his analysis of capitalism from analysis of a commodity. The contradictions inside commodity lead to formation of money and further to capital.

Both the Economic Survey pertaining to this year and last year are very well drafted, lucid and pragmatic. It does not dabble with statistics that cannot throw light on the holes of the economy. However, these two documents focus on the most vital parts of the economy.
