Amid all the negative reviews, i watched the movie in big screens yesterday and valimai didn’t fail me a single bit. From start to end the bike stunts and the fight sequences are extraordinary. Yeah, they should have avoided the family sentiments and I totally understand why they included that in the movie but I don’t feel it dragged the movie down but it was a part of the movie. If you watch valimai with a neutral cinema audience view you would enjoy a good clean movie with brilliant cinematography and high class stuff and you will enjoy a world class cinema in Tamil. I would definitely compare this with fast and the furious because I don’t remember the last time I watched a movie like this in Tamil and kudos to the director, actor, yuvan and cinematographers. There are no fake romance, there is no horrible comedies, no nonsense which is a plus point to the movie. It’s an action thriller with strong core message so please expect no logic but enjoy a good movie.
