I think the shortcomings have been sufficiently covered in previous reviews. I would say if you just want a movie to watch and you aren't a stickler for accurate history, then go for it. Otherwise, be aware you may walk out saying, "wow, now I see why the French are so mad about this movie." C+ at best.

This is some of the worst acting I have ever seen in my life. I can't understand why Morgan Freeman was in it, it seemed so beneath him in caliber. Note that he was the best one in the whole movie though. The premise of the movie sounded interesting and could have been really good. The directing, the horrible transitions, the acting..well everything was straight garbage. The only reason I wrote this review is because I'm so mad I spent over an hour watching it!

Please relegate this movie to the trash heap of history. Positively horrid.
