It has really good animation. And the timing is good. As well as the aesthetic. And the character designs are pretty good too. But here’s the thing. It doesn’t make me laugh. The jokes are really under delivered. And to be honest. When you’ve seen the movies. The series is a little disappointing. I love Mavis as a character. And her design, she in herself is adorable and mischievous. And her alone kinda keeps me interested. As far as the other monsters in the show. There’s no real character development there. It doesn’t really keep me tuned in to see the rest of the show. Let alone new episodes. I believe if the target demographic is for much younger viewers. Then it’s a wonderful show. But for the older audience that loved, and continue to be big fans of the movie. Such as my self. It just doesn’t deliver.
