I could not get through even half the episode. When I saw the trailer I did not think it looked good, but went into it wanting to love the show as much as the original. The first eight minutes were packed with so much political bull and completely one-sided. As a Latina, I felt this in no way showed what they are going through in today’s society. I truly hope moving forward they tone it down and then maybe it will be tolerable to watch. Until then, I’ll keep rewatching the original show. Such a waste of a topic that could have been brought back to life in a fun and entertaining way.
