I had high hopes for this but I was very disappointed. I gave up at episode 3 as I was not wasting my time watching. I simply did not care what happened. The awful dubbing is really irritating. It's like they gathered 20 California surfers and got them to read the words, having no idea what the series was about. The whole thing is desperately boring. Even the actors look bored. The main character, Hannah, looks as disinterested as she could be, and the police officer with the beard...seriously? Is this acting in Sweden? The plot is ridiculous, it's like a bad episode of Twin Peaks. There's lots of snow, if you like snow. It deserves zero stars. Absolutely dreadful

I am surprised this film has not scored higher. I would give it 4.5/5 and I don't think that is being generous. I admit that I really like Benicio del Toro as an actor, so I am going to watch anything he is in and enjoy his performances regardless of the quality of the film. The 2 Sicario films, Escobar, No Sudden Move, even the tv series Escape...all.spring to mind. This movie has a decent plot and pace, with lots of interesting threads and developments along the way. There is plenty to keep us attentive and occupied. The supporting cast is strong.

I enjoyed watching this film. As a retired lawyer I struggled a bit with some of the scenes, and (for example) the dramatics of the DA I found highly irritating. But despite these and some other flaws, it kept me interested till the end, and I enjoyed some of the acting, especially Renee Zellweger and James Belushi. It was quite Grisham-esque, which I'd probably why I enjoyed the film.

I admire Tyler Perry and his work but this is terrible. I have allowed 2 stars, 1 for Kelly Rowland, who is visually stunning and very nearly manages to persuade us she is the clever hard-edged defence attorney she is trying to portray. Nearly. Second star for her wardrobe, which is definitely the star of the show, WOW! Otherwise, this is a waste of 2 hours. Terrible dialogue, poor direction, silly plot lines and modest acting, to say the least. Mea culpa indeed!
