Wouldn’t say I’m a movie specialist or anything but this movie was just not it. I was hoping as I watch the movie went on maybe it will grow on my maybe it will get better but no, it doesn’t get better. The script and dialogue is giving very Snapchat AI and chatGPT. The plot is very predictable even as someone who doesn’t watch many movies, a lot of cliches in the movie like “Oh my gosh! A suspicious haunted pool with a demon! Mom, I’m drowning! 😰😱” That’s literally the vibe of the movie. Couldn’t really form a connection with the characters or their backstories felt like everyone in the movie was just an NPC due to the ridiculous acting and script. Even as someone who doesn’t want movies especially horror, I wouldn’t even say this is even horror movie. More like mild scares here and there that’s the only alright part of it all. Other than that…Wouldn’t watch this movie ever again. 2/5 stars don’t waste your money.
