Much Ado About Nothing. I loved the show and thought the first movie was okay, but this movie was both boring and rushed at the same time. I know that sounds like an oxymoron but somehow they were able to pull it off. Each character had a contrived plot that they would spend about a minute on, only to hurriedly skip to the next character’s silly antics. SPOILER: I suspect that Maggie Smith asked to be killed off after reading this catastrophe. It’s sad and I actually said “I think I’m done with Downton” about halfway through the movie. What a pitiful end to a once great series.
