This movie, was a complete disaster. But, the soundtrack was good and, the film barely passed its budget of 8 million and, it grossed to a shy 11 million. This movie sunk the Robert Stigwood Organization along with the Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band movie. This was Travolta's third and final film deal with Robert Stigwood.
Fresh off from "Saturday Night Fever" (1977) and "Grease" (1978). He wanted to be in this movie because, he wanted to work with Lily Tomlin.
This film is "Campy" but, I enjoyed the film.
Jane Wagner, hasn't directed a film since this film's fiasco.
