I'm about 200 hours into playing MLB The Show 24 on Xbox Series X. I started with playing DD like I always do every year. Then I realized it's the same old thing. Nothing is new. I just don't see the point of grinding for cards that are going to expire and have seasons for just that season. So, I stopped playing DD. I went to Road the Show and created my wife as a ball player. This is where I sunk all my hours into this mode. I LOVE THIS MODE!!!! I'm a franchise mode and March to October kind of guy. Playing through the progression of your ball player through the draft, minors, and MLB is so damn fun. The edition of the draft combine is a huge win for me. You can also create practice modes for your player to work on. I've been playing Road to the Show since 2009 and this year is by far the best one yet. This mode sucks so many hours away but damn is it a fun and most of all immersive experience. If you a die-hard baseball fan like me it's a must-buy. GO DODGERS!!!!

SWITCH REVIEW!!! I've played the game now for two hours on my OLED Switch. I have to say I'm BEYOND impressed how they were able to get this game to run on outdated hardware. I'm not a big graphics guy because I'm come from playing video games in the late 80's. As long as the game runs well and its fun as hell that's all i care about. Having amazing graphics is a bonus to me. I played Hogwarts on my series X and its a gorgeous game. Absolutely stunning! On the Switch version its exactly what i thought it was going to be and better. The frame rate is 30 frames per second and sometimes in the open world it dips a little. But not much. I love the story and exploration of this game. This game is like a fine wine. Take it all in. Don't rush this experience. Take your time. I love to just wonder around and find little easter eggs. It's such a cozy game to wonder around in especially during the holiday season. If this is your first time playing it on Switch its a MUST BUY!!! Now if graphics are a big deal to you. You might have some issues with it. For me its perfect. Could it be better? Sure. No game is perfect, But this game is to me.

I've been looking forward to this game for months! I started playing it last night and OH MAN! This game is absolutely gorgeous for starters. It's one of the prettiest games on switch. This is what 2D Mario should be all the time. This game made me laugh out loud so many times. The level design is so much fun, and the detail is incredible. I also LOVE how many characters you can select from. I chose Luigi to start my first run through and I'm so glad i did. My advice to anyone who picks up and plays this game is to take your time. There's so much to see. To sum it up this is a MUST BUY!!! Sure, would i like the difficulty to be a little more challenging? Yes, but that's the only thing and it doesn't really bother me. I've been playing Mario games since Super Mario World. If this is the direction 2D Mario is headed SIGN ME UP!

I've been playing the Nintendo Switch version for about a day now. I don't understand the hate that surrounds this version. The game runs great and sure it has its issues like any game nowadays. Is it 4k? No. Is it 120FPS? No. Is the gameplay and atmosphere BADASS? HELL YEAH!!! The game runs great! The story is AWESOME! The new invasion mode is so addicting! Playing through the regular towers is a blast like always! To me the price doesn't matter. I've been playing MK since it was SEGA Genesis. I love this series, and this is a fantastic installment of MK. I'm a guy that doesn't care about graphics. All i care about is the game runs well. It sure does.

I played the demo and then immediately went to download the full game. Most of the time throughout the game i kept saying why isn't Octopath Travlers combat this simple and easy to jump into. I love both games!! I just wish there was more time to explore then battling every second you take a step. Sea Of Stars is a beautiful game! The performance, Gameplay, and story is outstanding. It's nothing too deep but it reminds me so much of the 90's. The story is simple, but as it should be. I hope they make a sequel to this game. If you have a Nintendo switch it's a must OWN! Try the demo!

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

This review is coming from a guy who has been gaming since the 80's. I didnt get into Zelda until Breath of the Wild. When i heard a sequel to it i was so excited. After playing a few hours last night this game is different and just plain better then Breath of the Wild. I can't believe I'm even saying that. The opening of this game blew me away. Just the tone and vibe i immediately thought whoa this different. Don't want to spoil anything. The colors, graphics, and gameplay are simply a masterpiece. I highly recommend this game. Its a must play. Every single player who plays this game will have a different story to tell. You map out your own journey and that's one of the greatest things about this game. I hope this review helped. If your new to Zelda this would be a great place to start.

MLB The show 23 is absolutely AMAZING! I'm about 10 hours into the game on my Xbox Series X. Presentation, Graphics, and announcing is the best it's ever been. The bat sounds are incredible!! I'm still not a fan of the PCI or pinpoint pitching. My advice to any old school or new gamer would be to not use it. It doesn't improve anything. It's a gimmick. Directional hitting and Analog pitching work just fine. Now the new meter fielding is incredible. It makes you sweat sometimes because of the timing but makes the experience way more fun than in years past. Game modes wise, this game is loaded with content. Franchise mode and March to October are my go-to. I love the new scouting system and drafting additions. However, Diamond Dynasty is one of my favorite modes. You don't have to spend real money at all. Just grind and you'll be getting 99 overalls in no time. It's worth it, Story Lines brings a whole new element to this game! Talking about the negro leagues and where some of the most iconic players came from is a history lesson in itself. I can't wait to see what they build for story lines in the future. THIS IS OUTSTANDING!!!! Now my only issue is RTTS mode. It's clearly hasn't been touched, but i understand when you're pumping out a new game every year it's hard to attend to every single mode. It needs a overhaul of what a actual major leaguer goes through on a day-to-day basis. Look if you're a diehard baseball fan like me you already got the game. Now if your new baseball fan or sports fan in general. This is the best sports game on the market right now. EA Sports games don't hold a candle to what this game brings. This game is well worth every single penny. Let's GO DODGERS!!!
