I identified most with the resident Pelican who was trapped in the holiday chalet while beautiful heteronormative white age gap couples copulated all around it. I think I'd have given the film only one criticism - there was too much plot. I learnt that the way to a lover's heart is a clean HIV test and that pushing a 13 year old into the Mediterranean is a valid method of attracting a 45 year old woman's attention. The t-shirt slogans aside, the film has heart, drama and reams of indecipherable dialogue indisposed with anticlimactic action sequences which make my humble life feel more interesting.
