The entire point of the movie was that Spirit couldn't be tamed. The relationship between him and Little Creek took entire seasons to develop in the movie, it felt deserved when Spirit allowed Little Creek to ride him. This feels undeserved and completely undermines the theme and emotion of the first movie. It'd be fine to ruin a completely new idea, but don't ruin a beautiful piece of media that was a large part of the childhoods of many. Not to mention the horrid animation, very low budget CGI. You can tell, in the movie, that the animators put tons of time and effort into the characters, their movements, and every background. Every scene was beautiful, the color palatte was lovely, and the show is very much so lacking any scenery that is interesting to look at and appreciate. The original soundtrack was very fitting, memorable, and enjoyable. The show so far has had no memorable music, and the music it does have is really just disrespectful to the score of the movie. Netflix is just leeching all it can off the nostalgia of the original cinematic masterpiece, and it makes the movie genuinely less enjoyable. I wish this didn't exist, but it does, and it's disgusting.
