It’s a big read, lots of characters to keep up with, thought the story of tracking the cocaine shipment was an exciting read along with hunting down the most wanted terrorist. The White House storyline was good but a little too contrived, how could the president not know what her husband was getting up to? First part of the book was great for entwining the main characters but the 2nd part had me struggling to keep up with who was doing what. If there’s a follow up I hope it sorts out the what happened next.

Like others I waited ages to get the sequel, read it on holiday last week, massive disappointment at the last 3rd of the book, I’ve never liked space/science fiction type stories and this is where I was led to. I loved I am Pilgrim, however this follow up was good for a time but fell off a cliff towards the end. I get it’s fiction but felt I’d been played for a fool at how it ended. I wouldn’t recommend this as a purchase but that’s just my opinion.
