If you haven’t read the books you may be captivated, mainly by some of the scenery, costumes and CGI (hence 2 stars instead of 1) but don’t look too closely because there are glaring oddities (already outlined by others comments). The Wheel of Time book series is a classic and it (like the Lord of the Rings) deserved to be portrayed in its original form. People would have been glued to the screen even if one book spanned over seasons. I find the drastic storyline changes and irrational dripping “wokeness” insulting when the original story had all races and ethnicities plus some lesbianism and polygamy worked in anyway. Robert Jordan is turning in his grave. I’m disappointed. Basically, if you love the books, don’t expect much of the Amazon series.
