This series touched on a very important topic that needed to be given wider publicity, so well done to everyone involved in its production. However l have one or two criticisms. The first episode was absolutely gripping from the very beginning; it could have been a documentary. However the second episode was a bit of an anticlimax. I know some schools have deteriorated since Covid but it still didn’t seem a very realistic portrayal of life in the classroom today. Also there were long lingering shots which slowed the action down. Incidentally we never find out where the knife came from.
Episode three was superb. Erin Docherty gave a masterful performance interviewing Jamie (who was also brilliant).
I’m not sure how much the fourth episode added to the story. I didn’t understand the significance of the “Nonse” sprayed on the van. I understand the pressure the family was obviously feeling but as with episode two l feel it could have been condensed without losing anything.
Overall l enjoyed it(if that’s the right word). This is a problem that needs a good airing in public so l hope it reaches as wide an audience as possible.
Congratulations
