This was pretty rough. I really wanted to like it. It was an interesting premise. But it's like they had a possession movie trope checklist and had to check every box. It was a family drama for the first half, then it went into the demon stuff we've all seen a thousand times...... except we've seen it done so much better. This movie didn't know what it wanted to be. With Glenn Close in it I thought it might be a good watch. Surely, with her experience she wouldn't do just any old Netflix crap. Holy shit was I wrong. If you are a true horror fan...... skip it. This wasn't good. All the 5 star reviews cannot be from seasoned horror fans. Nothing against anyone who left a 5 star....... but they just don't understand the genre. Having said that....... you might actually enjoy it as a nice popcorn movie if you're not a big horror fan.
