It was poorly made and too dark and scary for young children! My five year old nephew was frightened all the way through!

Not very well done! The movie in relation to the book is far from accurate! After reading the book the movie was very disappointing! The movie is bitsy, jumpy, jumping all over the place. Missing important information that would have helped viewers understand the angst a lot more. And adding pieces to the movie such as the library scene was confusing and annoying as it is not in the book but on the other hand missing other things from the movie!! Not a great depiction! Maybe it would have been better to make sure the book is read more clearly as readers who enjoyed the books to then go see the movie are very disappointed!!
