Dave Banks

I'm an avid fan: well aren't we all. I read this book over two nights just after it came out with much anticipation and thought: "maybe I missed something or read it too fast" cos it really seemed to lack Reacher! And what's more it was set back in time a bit when other books about that time in his life were absolute page turners. So I have just read it again and have come to the very sad conclusion that this is by far and away the weakest Reacher book I have read ( truth be told I haven't really found anything that come close to making this novel) second time around I had to force myself to keep going. Perhaps the Childs (both) have a new set of editors and storyline reviewers as the book gets written because this book is a fail. I can only hope Lee can take up the pen another time and bring our Jack back!
