One of the most amateurish movies directed by Mr Ghai. Even his first movie Kalicharan , directed some 3 decades back had more maturity. Actors act like they are doing a school play on the stage and dialogues are as if the actors have forgotten the lines and they are mumbling whatever appropriate comes to their mind. Plot is laughable and unconvincing. Music could have been passable but for that cringe worthy " Kambal ke neechay" song. It competes and wins over Yadein , another dud directed by Mr Ghai. He tries to use some of the techniques and camera work of his previously illustrious successful movies, but every attempt falls flat due to wafer thin , almost laughable, plot and bad acting from almost every actor including the veteren Rishi Kapoor and Mithun Chakraborty. It would have been great if Mr Ghai didn't have this film in his biodata.
