You need to see the movie yourself and make your own judgement …. Might need to take off the 2020s lens and put on the 70s lens…. Here is my honest review: With the plot jumping around a bit without a time frame … it’s really hard not to look at it from a 2020s lens and wonder if the gender roles were flipped, a young 15/16 year old young lady and a 25 year old man…this movie would be hard to watch… to many reviewers that say ignore the age, will you be as open if the age and gender roles were flipped ?? If you flip the gender roles and you see no issue with the movie, you are allowed to your own opinion but don’t criticize other peoples tolerance especially in this day and age.
