Absolutely hilarious but you have to understand the situation in Ireland back in the day to really get some of the jokes. What a fantastic cast and fantastic acting. Sad and yet hilariously funny when you consider the time. Definitely a must-watch

I have absolutely no idea why this movie has such low reviews. I think it was absolutely fabulous and captivating the whole way through. After leaving the cinema I got talking to a gentleman who was in the Air Force I asked him what he thought...."absolutely fabulous".
