As a long-time fan of the X-Men franchise, Dark Phoenix was an emotionless swansong to a beloved series. After several successful films, DP falls short both in writing and execution. It suffered from a dragging middle and a rushed ending. I wish didn't see it so I could have been left on the uplifting ending of X-Men Apocalypse, which despite its flaws was worlds better than this garbage movie.
