A little artsy and lacking hard storylines for me, too many questions unanswered and seemingly mostly about emotional strife or something… and with Adam Sandler and a cute spider alien that reminds me of the space fart from Rick n Morty, I was on the edge of my seat for a joke that never came. They seemed to be somewhere between sci fi and retro technologically, shooting through space in a very 60’s rocket with a quantum phone. Nothing ever gets explained, and seems to be so, just because. Everything seemed a bit derivative, even the ending was straight from interstellar, if only they threw in the line “love transcends time and space” or “timey wimey stuff”… Hard going, but at least I got to the end, even if my reaction is just… da fuq?!
