I was three when Hank Williams died. My father listened to his music constantly. As I became a teenager I was not fond of his music. My dad told me you had to listen to the words to appreciate the poetry. Over the years I learned to appreciate things I had dismissed in the past. That said, this movie gave me the chance to hear the lyrics. I was moved. The movie is dark, so much music in 29 years.
