Not gonna lie here, anything after Halloween III in this series with the exception of the David Gordon Green reboot trilogy is hot garbage. Halloween 4 is atrocious enough expecting us to believe Michael and a middle aged doctor survived an explosion in an operating room in a hospital walking away with nothing but a few burns. Michael alone was shot in both eyes and burned for minutes on end. Keeping these facts In mind Halloween 4’s money hungry agenda is already insulting our intelligence. Michael can see again, Loomis is fine but what put me past the point of no return was the big face reveal scene in this movie. Michael is perfectly fine no burns whatsoever and a full head of hair. It’s insultingly stupid and I will never watch this thing again. If you want a Halloween film that respects the viewers with decently written characters and actually integrity from the filmmakers watch the original the first sequel or the underrated Halloween III Season of the Witch which at least tries something new and gives us something that won’t get old. Halloween 5 is what happens when money takes priority over quality and there’s so much better available to enjoy!
