Kyah Morgan – Google

I wanted to like this show, but its SO slow and boring. Its unremarkable. Every episode feels the same. Theres been 9 hrs of nothing even remotely impressionable. It hasnt hooked me at all. Episode 9 has a scene thats very obviously a rip off from an iconic GOT scene. You know what Im talking about. Its a nonsensical scene to boot, the whole thing could of been over with that scene, but that doesnt serve the plot. So it was just another anticlimactic event in a long line of uncreative drivel. This is what happens when when HBO writers dont have a detailed book to go off of. The book they are following is written as a historical account. Which means theyve had to add a great deal and basically turned the fist chapter of the book into a 10 hour bore fest. The whole thing is so obviously an excruciatingly drawn out lead up to the Kings death and the war that will happen next season. None of the characters are likable, or even complex. Its seems there were hopes they could continue riding the coat tails of GOTs without any actual creative input happening. It does not come close to the masterpiece that GOTs was (excluding the dumpster fire that was the last season of course).

As some who’s worked on farmers with animals I find this show ridiculous, inaccurate and insulting. Depicting farmers as idiots on topics they are knowledgeable and experienced in is misleading. Its our job to care for animals. If we had to call a vet every time one was ill or having a difficult birth we wouldnt get very far. We have medications on site and can diagnose most difficulties. Its part of the job. Its rare we need a vet to intervene or support us. Knowing what to do with a runt is common introductory knowledge even to the greenest farmers.
