If you don’t want to read a spoiler don’t read my review.Skip Skip Skip. I gave this movie a three star simply because of how it ended. I mean i get the concept of choice, but in reality she truly loved Sun-oh, but Now they both have to suppress their feelings and move on? It’s like pity for the other characters(They love them so much and are kind hearted, so, to not be a bad guy, let me suffer and give them what they want) and not choose the man I’m destined to be with. Jojo chose Hye-yeong because she felt bad that he liked her and would waste his whole life waiting for her. She chose not to be with who she was destined to be with. So that forced Sun-oh to settle with that other girl just to not be lonely. That doesn’t make sense to me and made me dislike the show even more. This reminds me of my life. I know for a fact that if i saw my first love, the feeling when your heart squeezes because the deep feelings are still there, we would still feel a connection. We both moved on to people we can love and have loved but it’s not the same. Love alarm just proves that. Over time you can grow to love someone and really care for them. But it would never be the same as the person that makes your knees weak and heart feel like it weighs 1000lbs. And just like the show, we will never get a chance to live in our truth. They ruined a great ending. Both relationships look pitiful. The look in Hye-yeongs eyes is if someone who knows he would never measure up, but takes pride in getting something his “friend” wants and can’t have. Sun-oh, wants to suppress his feelings so bad, he’s desperate for the other girl. Hoping that with time he will ring her alarm but knows deep down that doesn’t mean he would get over Jojo. If someone is reading this right now, and is at a crossroads of choosing THE ONE or someone else, choose THE ONE.
