(Spoilers) Such. Bad. Acting. it was so choppy the way people acted..didn't flow. There's no chemistry between that cop and the writer and it feels forced. It's cringe and cliche, you can kind of figure out who killed the teacher by like 15 mins in. theres no backstory to any of the characters (except for the one that dies in the beginning) so you don't really relate to any of them. Watched it til the end to see if there was a redeeming quality, there isn't. I feel like all the actors in it were new to acting. Also there are no scenes to portray the past when they're talking about it, they just say it out loud and you have to imagine it (drug adct sister, husband is powerful, writer apparently solved s murder in NY) all of which could have been more meaningful if they put in montages or scenes. But they only bring it up in convo and you have to imagine it. i think thats on the director. so yeah bad quality all around. watched bc it was top rated on NF which is a bit sus. an episode of criminal minds is like 10x better in terms of story telling
