Seth Boyd

A movie that seemed as though the creators hear the premise of the book and assume they fully understood it. The movie creates a more confusing plot to further a weaker message. Between weak visual effects, flattened characters, and the most generic dystopian setting possible, the story does not reflect the original Ray Bradbury novel in the slightest, instead opting to be an overly-edgy, mindless mess with no deeper philosophy than “Technology = Bad.” Not worth watching except to frustrate yourself.
