this show is a brilliant adaptation of the books, freddy and amita and kit in particular were PERFECT as kaz and inej and jesper. they didn't just play their characters, they WERE their characters. most of the dialogue between nina and matthias was straight from the books and their dynamic was adorable and perfect, also just the whole cast is fantastic and you can tell they really love and care about their characters and as a fan of the books i'm SO happy this didn't turn into a massive disappointment like the shadowhunters tv adaptation. was nervous to see how they would tie the shadow & bone and six of crows plotlines together but i think they did it well, i think they could've benefitted from having more than 8 episodes but they did a fantastic job anyway and i am very excited for season 2!!

terrible show, glad it was cancelled. the show runners were super disrespectful to cassie (the author of the books the show is based on) and basically ruined the whole story and all the character arcs

visually, amazing to watch. In terms of the plot...*sigh* the characterisation was way off, several plot points made no sense at all, and overall as a huge Potter fan I felt insulted at the injustices done to the characters.
