"Silver Bullet" is a movie with the right mix of 80s camp, humor, and some genuinely intense moments. Corey Haim plays a crippled 11 year old on a mission to put a end to the unexplained murders that have been going on in his town. While some of the acting is painful to watch, you can still find the cheesy moments somewhat enjoyable. Nothing terrifying, just enjoyable. While its definitely not the best horror movie ever made, I personally think its one of the best, if not the best werewolf movie ever made. Even if the werewolf looks more like a bear than anything, even if the werewolf effects are bad even for an 80s movie, even if people say the novel is 100 times better, you can still find a lot of enjoyment in this movie. Its intense, funny, it has some chilling parts, and lets not forget the real star of the show, Gary Busey. I definitely recommend Silver Bullet.
Edit: I can confirm that the novel Silver Bullet is based on (Cycle of the werewolf) is better. If anything, I would recommend the novel more than the film.
