You don't need to know anything about Zelda to love this game. Actually, this was what got me into the series. Breath of the wild forces you to not only explore its neverendingly beautiful and exiting world but also to think outside the box. The wilderness, ruins, towns, and dungeons especially (called shrines), are obviously just as well thought out as the characters. And when you uncover all the little mechanics that make this game so unique it will just add and add till you love this game as much as the fandom does. If you by this game make sure you try and milk every thing out of it. Because you'll find it never stops. Bewilderingly consistently brilliant.
