I'm not sure why so many people are critical of the programme itself. It serves excellently as an exposé of policing practice and shows up the lame self interrogation system for what it is. One has to say "Well done!" to Avon & Somerset police for letting the programme be made. It kind of sits with what many of us knew and felt about the post office scandal, long long before it took a tv play to bring it into the bigger public spotlight. That will probably lumber on for years yet too, with innocents suffering and the guilty being rewarded.
