It may turn out that I am wrong, but the ending in episode 3 would be a perfect place to end the series, or at least this season. There always seems to be the temptation to turn a good, thought-provoking show into something you can run into the ground.

I have seen these actors in other shows, and they were fine. The script is terrible, and the delivery reminds me of watching a Netflix show dubbed in English. A flat delivery that seems contrived. It got a lot better in episode 2. The cast has gotten their footing. The dialog is flowing better.

Season one was interesting except that the the Protector plays the part like he got his inspiration from the TV character Castle. In the second season the script and acting seems to get worse. If I were one of the Loyal One's I would have packed up and gone home after the first season

I can only say that it is a good story but the characters seem like they are from Mayberry on the Andy Griffith show. The characters are written like the competent sheriff and the goof of his deputy and there is an Aunt Be and the incompetent Town Manager all with a lot of corny dialogs.
