Gillian Hardie

This series is confusing and perplexing me in equal measure. Started out as a 'comedy' which made me belly laugh. It has gone on something really quite dark. The character of Paul is really quite disturbing. A rage filled Father that gaslights his young son with a terrifying consistency while the Mother does absolutely nothing. Nothing but placate him at every turn. I want to shake her. I'm watching to the end in the hope he gets some kind of help but the boy already has years of angry Dad shaping his life so can't see how it will be redeemed. Very very odd that's it's a series with no consequence. Making me feel so odd but cannot stop watching.
