A very solid Mech game. If you're a fan of "Armored Core 4" and "Armored Core 4 Answer" then you'll likely feel at home with this.
Gameplay is satisfiying, music is great, there's a good degree of customisation options allowing for a range of playstyles and the online coop and vs modes are suprisingly fun for a mech game.
I'd argue the biggest issue with the game is the lack of story progression for the first half of it and how much is thrown at you at the end. With that said the character banter made the former parts enjoyable for me and the latter parts of the game had some nice twists that genuinely had me interested in finishing, however if you actively don't like the story or banter then I could see this game becoming a slog to get through so I would highly recommend anyone on the fence to try the demo. It doesn't showcase many characters or much of the non-explanatory dialogue but it'll give you some idea of what it's like.
Performance isn't amazing but it isn't terrible. You wont be getting a perpetual 60 FPS but the game never becomes unplayable.
