1 star is far too many for this film. I almost wanted to pluck my eyeballs out while watching it (I would’ve still looked better that way than the ghost Manjulika did in the film). I could’ve made a better movie on InShot using my dabba phone. They really should place trigger warnings for self-harm as this movie makes you seriously consider ending your life. I might just switch career paths because this movie has shown me that no prior skills are required to add vfx and special effects. The acting was phenomenal (if you compare it to my younger brother’s school play, nothing else). I don’t know how Kiara Advani went to med school in the film when she didn’t have the sense to do anything other than peek out from behind doors and pillars the entire movie. The jokes quite ironically made me want to cry with how cringey they were; they sounded like they were copied off of someone’s third grade joke book. Jumping out of the window sounds like a wonderful idea after watching this movie and I’m genuinely so grateful to Netflix for proving me with a fast forward button. Crossing my fingers that the director Anees Bazmee retires soon. Enjoy 😍😍😍
