Genndy Tartakovsky and his team have proven what most modern television fail to understand. You don't need a single finished sentence of dialogue to tell a brilliant, edge-sittingly fascinating story.
From start to finish, this beautifully colorful and traumatically violent series shows nature's Primal beauty and altruistic quest for ecosystemic survival at it's finest.
Fans of Genndy's other more drawn out works like 2003's Attack of the Clones and Samurai Jack will feel right at home (so long as gut-wrenching gore isn't a concern).
Avoiding spoilers, scenes go from quant and calm to sporadic and purely chaotic quickly but at a different pace each time, leaving fans holding their breathe for Genndy to rip the curtain open and give people what they're anticipating while maintaining surprise with each episode.
The fact this series is already slated for a second season is a win for Genndy fans, understanding nature lovers and narrative junkies alike.
Can not recommend it enough!
