The show is interesting, but the casting of Randall Parks as Professor James Moriarty was criminal!! My best friend is Chinese, so this isn’t a racist objection. Moriarty was a classy, affluent, cunningly brilliant English man. His whole personality personified that upbringing. The casting of Moriarty has ruined the show for me! Perhaps he could be in disguise and they can get a replacement actor for Moriarty. Star Trek did an excellent job casting Moriarty years ago! I am fine with Morris Chestnut as the lead. He is an excellent actor. Watson was a pudgy, old, English man, as the story goes. I can overlook that, as he played second fiddle to Holmes. The show should be more about crime investigation with the name, “Watson” , which includes a Sherlock Holmes plot. It is very much like House, in all respects. Watson has potential, but is not likely to last without significant changes.
