First off, let me preference this whole thing by saying that I'll be 45 in less than a month. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre has been and will always be in my humble opinion one of the most beautiful things ever filmed. It was simple, gritty, and made you feel like you were there. There's not much blood and gore to speak of, but it did it's job. It didn't need it. You were in that nightmare. You can feel the Texas heat and smell the house during those scenes. I'm tired of the whole millennial thing...Lots of us gen x folk are. It's not going anywhere, and I'm not starting some movement. But PLEASE STOP TAKING MY CHILDHOOD POP CULTURE AND CLAIMING IT FOR YOUR OWN!! You didn't live through it and you have no idea what Converse All Stars used to cost untill SOMEONE deemed them hip and trendy...this movie is a woke mess that tries too damn hard...I do not consider it a proper sequal and not should any other purest...
