Summer Merryman

I just watched Wonka Movie and it was absolutely amazing! Timothée Chalamet’s version of Wonka was very much soft and kind. A version we needed to see. He was giving and kind from the beginning to end, even after facing challenges he never lost his connection with his mission. I normally hate musicals but the music portion was blended in with the story perfectly and not overdone. It gave me that magical feeling the whole time watching and I haven’t seen a movie like that in a long time. Definitely take a family night and watch it.

The acting was amazing, Emma Stone’s version was well thought out.

This movie plot had a lot of potential but fell flat. They draw us into the movie instantly with hatred towards Marla. When she kidnaps a mob bosses mother, you think she is going to get what’s coming, but the mob is joke and has no real powerful presence. Even though the ending gave us what we wanted it was not the true poetic justice we like to see.

I loved the comedy and the acting. But. The. Ending. Was. Just. Awful. I’m so frustrated with it.
