I didn’t switch off so it was at least ok. The plot lines and holes and pretty poor script are B movie quality.

I’m trying hard to like this show. I’ve given it every sporting chance. The dialogue tries so so so so very hard to be so sophisticated, witty and high brow, but it all just comes across as dull and self aggrandising. Got sooo fed up listening to people talk in bland riddles I completely forgot the storyline. I’m sure the book was better. Much better.

OMG. What an awful experience. What’s going on with the acting? And the English accents? It’s like watching the A-team over and over and over again.

I’ve only watched 10 mins and I’m shocked how bad this is. Did someone actually write this dialogue in a script and hand it over with a straight face? What a great mini-series. The characters, Mare and her mum are both excellent. Can’t say enough good about it. I don’t want a season 2 in case it’s not got the same level of brilliance!

OMG that was terrible. The plot lines, the acting between the double dads and Asian child. I kept waiting for a twist but I should have just pressed off. Terrible film trying to pander to cancel culture. Embarrassing if ever got made.
