I only gave it two stars because the TV series is decent… but the characters were terribly cast (nothing like the book series at all), they added events that never happened nor brought anything substantial to the story. They fly through important parts explaining very little, then spend way too much time on BS that’s insignificant. Why make a TV series based on a book series, then only follow the storyline on a very skin deep level? My advice… if you watch the show, go into it with the mindset that this is a completely different line of events compared to the book. Just pretend it has nothing to do with the book series and you’ll like it. 😅
